MYRTLE ALLEY COMMUNITY PROJECT

SANTA ANA, CA 2021

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, in my personal opinion this particular image captured the exact reason of why we do this. There are locations through out the city that are often overlooked and forgotten. These spaces are the walk ways of the coming generations.  Those who are soaking in new ideas, knowledge and influences. It is vital to spark that creativity and individuality in the youth, to let them know that anything is possible. There dreams, there ideas, there goals are limitless. Regardless of which neighborhood you live in. I see myself in the children that inhabit these spaces, for I once walked through these same streets. Dreaming, and knowing how it is to be overlooked. But I am here as a reminder to encourage them that with hard work, persistence, dedication and discipline anything is possible. Most importantly, to have love and passion for whatever they are pursuing. So, it brings me tremendous joy and pleasure to be able to be a part of the development and growth of the youth and the future of tomorrow...
